I am a United States active duty military personnel and also a current doctoral candidate at PennWest University Global Online. My research foci surround holistic self-care, mental wellness, and resilience. I am passionate about giving back to the community as I answered my nation’s call to serve and defend my country. I have been involved in several health and humanitarian missions in the United States and internationally.   • Leads complex post-anesthesia care, preoperative screening, and discharge planning spanning 38 Pacific Air Forces, Ground Surgical Unit, and U.S Embassy

  • Directs peri-anesthesia care services that facilitate treatment for 11K military, Department of Defense civilians, and dependents

  • Provides perioperative care supporting seven surgical specialties and 1.5K procedures annually

  • Instructs and certifies medics for the Advanced  Life and Pediatric Life Support Programs 

 

48th Surgical Operations Squadron, RAF Lakenheath, England       Jan 2021 – Apr 2023

  • Medic in Charge - Peri Anesthesia Care Unit

  • Prepare medics for deployment through education in trauma skills

  • Leads peri-anesthesia surgical care with 35 medics, 20 surgeons, and 10 specialty services for 35,000 beneficiaries
